Pond Rocky

Last week it rained and then there was a cold snap, so the lake was super awesome, and it only lasted one day before there was some crappy warm weather and snow again. But I got this picture and some good real winter experience. There is something to be said for skating on the wide wide rink the lake provides.

Chain refraction

Today on the way to work I caught this, and my co-worker found a bunch of change in front of the united church. Am I insinuating that the leprechaun spilled his pot of gold. No. But it is pretty rare that I see such a complete rainbow. Dare I call it a "Double Rainbow"?

Damp Monday

An oldie but a goodie. It rained today. My umbrella is only so effective. So I sat through classes and tutoring with wet feet.

Secret Sauce

Wow. So on Monday it was hot and sunny and I mowed the lawn. This may not seem like anything special, except that it has rained just about every day since May. In fact it rained on Monday too, but only for a brief while in the afternoon. I had almost forgotten how much more excellent it is mowing the lawn when it's hot and sunny. So much more excellent. Perhaps it is brightness of the golden rays that seem to wash away the general malaise weeks and weeks of greyness seems to bestow upon its victims. Or maybe it's the super sunburn I got.
