Guelphen Prince
Well the results of the Guelph Lake 10K are up. I thought this was going to be a trail run when I signed up, but it was all pavement which helps me be a bit faster I think. I also got super sunburn as I spent almost all day outside

Ontario Pace
Welp, the results of the 2012 Goodlife Toronto Marathon are up. This being my first full marathon my main goal was just to finish. I did better than I had hoped though. See above. You can see all the results here. There's some other statistical data on the race website about progress and speeds and such here. The weather was super awesome and the bulk of the race is through scenic parts of Toronto. One of my brothers ran too and the other came to watch with their respective families. Just about every other race I run, I'm there on my own honing my non-eye-contact skills, so it was good to actually know some people.
Man am I ever stiff.

Five toe discount
Today was my 5th Peterborough YMCA Half Marathon. It went reasonably well, this time, for most of the race, I followed a dude who was barefoot. I did manage to pass him in the last couple of kilometers. WHAT an accomplishment [<- This part must be said in the manner of Zoidberg]. Did I mention it was about -5 C when we started? It was super gorgeous and sunny though.

Pond Rocky
Last week it rained and then there was a cold snap, so the lake was super awesome, and it only lasted one day before there was some crappy warm weather and snow again. But I got this picture and some good real winter experience. There is something to be said for skating on the wide wide rink the lake provides.

Jurassic Lark
Check what I did. See quantz link. I don't want to make too much of this, but I am now famous by virtue of having received the recognition of Ryan North and this is my greatest accomplishment since my hockey team won the Kingston Church House League Championship in 1987.

Well the results of the Blues Brothers Poll are in. They tied. Really each bears so many virtuous qualities that choosing one over the other is a lesson in futility as this poll has so clearly shown.
